THE VOICES OF CSN

Chris Kelly

Chris Kelly

President and Director of Sales and Marketing Play by Play

With several years of play by play experience in high school and college athletics CHRIS KELLY returns to the CSN mic. Kelly a Asheville native has been behind the mic in various forms. But sports , play by play and later broadcast media sales and marketing mixed together became his passion. ” I feel lucky to have met some quality sports people in radio and television.” The late Bob Fulton former VOICE of the South Carolina Gamecocks , Gary Hahn play by play NC State, Wes Durham radio play by play the NFL Atlanta Falcons and TV play by Play for the ACC Network which is owned by ESPN. Television , David Steele currently television play by play VOICE for the NBA Orlando Magic. And Stan Pamfilis long time Sports Director at WLOS TV News 13 in Asheville. Also from a radio play by play perspective two men I really enjoyed listening too. The late Woody Durham VOICE of the Tarheels for 40 years. Woody’s play by play mixed with stats and facts was amazing. The other John Ward 34 years as the VOICE of the Tennessee Volunteers. Just the call of the game, he and Woody knew how to create a image in your mind of where they were and what’s going on. College play by play I did USC Spartanburg, Coll of Charleston, CSU, Western Carolina , Mars Hill College to name a few.

High School I have called games in the Mountains of North Carolina, Upstate SC and in the Low Country of South Carolina. My first sports talk show was 970 SportsTalk in 1995 on 970 WWIT Canton.Yes in May 2011 Carolinasportsnut.com was born. We are HEADING into our 13th year.

During the our time we have grown and continue that upward pace. Single Professional and reside in the Asheville area.
