This early aggression caused many turnovers for the Catamounts who racked up 13 in the first half alone. The Catamounts faced an uphill battle as they were once down by a 14 point deficit. Though for the Catamounts, buckets would come from an assortment of players, ending the first half, 33-40 favoring the Bulldogs.
